Consequences of acneIn most cases it leaves pigmentation & in some cases, acne can leave behind scars. Acne can have a severe psychological and psychosocial affects leading to decreased confidence and self esteem issues in impressionable teens especially.
Treating acneWhile getting to the root cause with evaluation is the way to go. Treatment generally involves a combination of topical treatments, oral medications, lifestyle modifications, and procedures (if & when necessary)
